Yves Saint Laurent’s Sun Face (or “Sun Face”) earrings, created in collaboration with the renowned goldsmith Robert Goossens. Yves Saint Laurent worked closely with him from the 1960s onward. Goossens, nicknamed “the jeweler of fashion designers,” was already renowned for his work with Coco Chanel. He made his mark on the world of haute couture with his costume jewelry combining precious and semi-precious materials, often inspired by antiquity, the Baroque period, or Byzantine art.
