The Gucci GG Marmont bag was first introduced in 2016 under the artistic direction of Alessandro Michele. It draws inspiration from the brand’s archives, notably the double-G logo designed by Aldo Gucci in the 1970s. The name “Marmont” refers to the Château Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles, a legendary symbol of Hollywood glamour.
